"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Tom, I fucking hate anime kids. The ones who think they're Japanese, and all they do is draw anime and answer their phone by saying "moshi moshi" and wear traditional kimonos, and think they'd automatically be accepted into the Japanese culture if they were to visit Japan, which ISN'T TRUE, because they'd just get laughed at.
No one likes to be laughed at.
